Although our other appliances are white, we went with the stainless steel finish on our new fridge. The reason was simple. We knew the other appliances were also going to start dying off, so to keep an updated took to our home and kitchen, we went ahead with this upgrade to stainless steel. Initially, I thought they looked odd, and really big , but after comparing the sizes with other types, they were pretty compressible. There were models with the freezer on bottom, that did not have the dispensers for ice and water on the door, but they were not for us.
